Now, she came up behind Jesus, touched the edge of his cloak, and her bleeding stopped at once.

There was a woman who had been suffering from bleeding for twelve years. She had spent everything she had on doctors, but none had been able to heal her.

because his only daughter, about twelve years old, was dying. As Jesus was traveling, the crowd pressed in on all sides.

At that time, a man named Jairus, a synagogue official, threw himself at Jesus’ feet and begged him to come to his house

When Jesus came back, the people greeted him because everyone had been waiting for his return.

But Jesus sent him on his way, saying: “Go back to your family and tell them how much God has done for you.” So the man left, sharing throughout the entire town how much Jesus had done for him.

It was then that the man freed from the demons asked Jesus if he could stay with him.

All the people from the Gerasene region asked Jesus to leave, for a great fear had seized them. So Jesus got into the boat to go back.

Then those who had witnessed it told them how the man had been healed.

Then people went out to see what had occurred and came to Jesus. There they saw the man from whom the demons had been cast out. He was clothed, in his right mind, and sitting at Jesus’ feet. They were afraid.
