As Jesus was speaking, a woman in the crowd called out to him and said:
“Blessed is the one who gave you birth and nursed you!”

Jesus replied:
“Truly blessed are those who hear the word of God, and keep it as well.”

Commentaries
Jesus and Satan.
Jesus’ logic is unbeatable, leaving his opponents, like in all debates, silent. The timing and circumstances are perfect for Jesus to clearly show that, before him, no one can stay neutral: either they accept and follow him completely, or they reject him entirely.
