Saul continues his efforts to destroy David; the king still has followers who inform him in detail about the fugitive’s location, and he does not want to miss the chance. However, David also has people watching out for him. Once again, David escapes from Saul’s grasp, first because someone warns him of the danger and second because Saul must deal with the plundering of the Philistines.
