Salvation has become possible because Jesus is the “Lord,” the preacher affirms, thus mentioning his name for the first time to refer to his human nature. It is the “Lord Jesus” who, sharing equality with God, humbled himself to our level and became man like us. Through his passion and death, he was crowned with glory and honor.
