Bible Verses

As a large crowd gathered and people came to Jesus from every town, he began teaching them with a story:

Joanna, the wife of Chuza, Herod’s steward; Suzanna; and others who supported them financially.

along with some women who had been healed of evil spirits and illnesses: Mary called Magdalene, who had been freed from seven demons;

Jesus traveled through towns and countryside, preaching and announcing the good news of God’s kingdom. The Twelve followed him,

 But Jesus again spoke to the woman: “Your faith has saved you; go in peace!”

The others reclining with him at the table started to wonder: “Now this man claims to forgive sins!”

Then Jesus said to the woman: “Your sins are forgiven.”

This is why I tell you, her sins, her many sins, are forgiven, as her great love has shown. But the one who is forgiven little has little love.”

You provided no oil for my head, but she has poured perfume on my feet.
