Philemon 1:8

Paul’s Authority Therefore, although I have the authority in Christ to command you to do what is proper,

because I hear of your love and faith toward the Lord and all the saints.

Thanksgiving I thank my God always when I remember you in my prayers

Grace and peace be to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

to Apphia our sister, to Archippus, our faithful companion in our soldiering, and to the church assembled in your house.

Greeting Paul, a prisoner of Christ Jesus, and our brother Timothy, to Philemon, our dear friend and fellow worker,

Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever disobeys the Son will not see life and will face God’s justice.

The Father loves the Son and has entrusted everything into his hands.

The one sent by God speaks God’s words and gives the Spirit without measure.

Whoever does receive his testimony acknowledges the truthfulness of God.
