Bible Verses

Jesus stopped and ordered the blind man to be brought to him; and when he came near, Jesus asked him: 

The people in front of him scolded him, saying:  “Be quiet!” but he shouted even louder:  “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!”

Then he cried out:  “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” 

and they told him that Jesus of Nazareth was passing by. 

When he heard the crowd passing by, he asked what was happening

When Jesus approached Jericho, a blind man was sitting by the road begging.

The apostles couldn’t understand this; the meaning of these words remained a mystery to them, and they did not grasp what he said.

After they have scourged him, they will kill him, but he will be raised on the third day.” 

He will be delivered to the foreign powers. People will mock him, insult him, and spit on him. 

 Jesus then took the Twelve aside and told them, “Now we are going up to Jerusalem, and everything the Prophets have written about the Son of Man will be fulfilled.
