Exodus 1

Then a new king who had not known Joseph came to power

The sons of Israel were fruitful and kept multiplying. They grew so numerous and substantial that the land was filled with them.

Then Joseph died, along with all his brothers and that entire generation.

These descendants of Jacob numbered seventy in total; apart from these, Joseph was already in Egypt.

Dan and Naphtali, Gad and Asher.

Issachar, Zebulun and Benjamin,

Reuben, Simeon, Levi and Judah,

but they couldn’t do anything because all the people were listening to him and hanging on his words.
