When the days of her purification are completed, whether for a son or daughter, she shall bring to the priest at the door of the Tent of Meeting, a lamb born that year for a burnt offering, and a young pigeon or a turtledove for a sin offering.
If she gives birth to a daughter, she shall be unclean for two weeks as in her menstruation. She shall wait sixty-six days to be purified from her bleeding.

This law applies to all animals, birds, and creatures that move in water or crawl on land. Let everyone distinguish between the clean and the unclean, as well as between creatures that may be eaten and those that may not.
