Radical Discipleship – The Signs of the Times – Reaching Agreements.
In Greek, time is defined in two ways: ‘kronos,’ the measurable, clock and calendar-based time we can partly control, and ‘kairos,’ which signifies special moments that go beyond chronological time and have the power to transform our lives and add new dimensions. Jesus criticizes his generation for focusing too much on ‘kronos’ and missing the opportunity to see in him the presence of God’s kingdom breaking into history, the ‘kairos.’
